One I can think of for sure is this scene from 2002‘s Spider-Man… Yes, Tobey Maguire really did that.

John Dykstra, head of the VFX team for the film, revealed in the movie’s commentary that it took a whopping 156 takes to get this right. Mary Jane actor Kirsten Dunst confirmed this and revealed they used glue to stick the tray to his hand.

The studio apparently wanted to cut the scene from the movie — what a waste of 16 hours of shooting that would’ve been!
